Hace 4 días · Dusty Springfield. Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien OBE [2] (16 April 1939 – 2 March 1999), better known by her stage name Dusty Springfield, was an English singer. With her distinctive mezzo-soprano sound, she was a popular singer of blue-eyed soul, pop and dramatic ballads, with French chanson, country, and jazz in her repertoire.

1 de may. de 2024 · On their 1962 debut album aptly titled, “Kinda Folksy,” The Springfields covered hits The Weavers had popularized nearly a decade earlier such as “Wimoweh” and “Tzena, Tzena, Tzena.” In late 1962, Field left the group, and was replaced by Mike Hurst.

The latest album I received was RYUICHI SAKAMOTO MERRY CHRISTMAS MR. LAWRENCE VINYL LP (Used). It is in incredible condition and is a beautiful album. Mary O’Brien, the daughter of a tax consultant, grew up in prosperous Hampstead in North London.
