Michael Fergus Bowes-Lyon, 18th and 5th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, DL (7 June 1957 – 27 February 2016), styled Lord Glamis between 1972 and 1987, was a British politician and soldier, and a first cousin, once removed, of Queen Elizabeth II. He was usually known to family and friends as Mikey Strathmore.

Claude George Bowes-Lyon, 14. jarl av Strathmore og Kinghorne, (født 14. mars 1855, død 7. november 1944) var en adelig britisk landeier og bestefaren til dronning Elisabeth II . Claude Bowes-Lyon, 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (14 March 1855 – 7 November 1944), the father of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and grandfather of Queen Elizabeth II. He married Cecilia Cavendish-Bentinck (11 September 1862 – 23 June 1938) on 16 July 1881. They had 10 children.

Patrick Bowes-Lyon was born on 22 September 1884 at St Paul's Walden Bury, Hertfordshire to Claude Bowes-Lyon, 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Cecilia Cavendish-Bentinck. He was an older brother of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (later the Queen Mother), and therefore an uncle of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret.
