Jon Landau ( / ˈlændaʊ /; born July 23, 1960) [1] is an American film producer, known for producing Titanic (1997), Avatar (2009) and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), which earned $2.19 billion, $2.9 billion and $2.3 billion respectively. As of 2023, these are three of the four highest-grossing films of all time.

Jon Landau is an American film producer from New York City who produced a lot of films that James Cameron made since 1997's Titanic. He produced the 2009 hit film Avatar, Solaris, Alita: Battle Angel directed by Robert Rodriguez and co-produced Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and Dick Tracy.

For me personally, I enjoy going to the movies, so a film’s success depends on whether it provides for me that escape — I don't want to think about Avatar, I don't want to think about bills that have to be paid, all of these things.
