Biographie. Constant Agrippa d’Aubigné, né vers 1585 et mort à Orange le 31 août 1647, fils d’ Agrippa d'Aubigné et de Suzanne de Lusignan de Lezay, est chevalier, seigneur des Landes-Guinemer, baron de Surimeau. Il est le père de Madame de Maintenon, maîtresse, puis épouse, du roi Louis XIV .

Constant d'Aubigné, son of the poet Théodore-Agrippa d'Aubigné and his first wife Suzanne de Lusignan de Lezay. He was first married to Anne Marchant, by whom he had one son, Théodore (1613-1670). In 1619, he murdered Anne and her lover. He was in prison when he met his second wife, Isabelle Jeanne de Cardilhac.
