Lukas and his top-flight band of brothers: bassist Corey McCormick, drummer Anthony Logerfo, percussionist Tato Melgar and multi-instrumentalist Logan Metz, have seen their profile rise dramatically in the two years since the release of their self-titled Fantasy debut.
Best known for his work with Lukas Nelson, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Lady Gaga, and Chris Cornell, bassist Corey McCormick has just released a new EP with his trio Organa. The band’s funky debut release offers seven new tracks driven by the deep grooves of McCormick, who also produced, wrote, sang, and mixed the album.
“Interstellar” the new single from Corey McCormick’s band Organa is their first release of 2022 is about to be unveiled worldwide. Established in late 2016 by bassist/vocalist McCormick, lead vocalist/ percussionist Gabe Velasquez, and guitarist Nick Lewis, Organa is an eclectic mix of funk, soul, rock, and jazz.
