The Courtauld Gallery (UK: / ˈ k ɔːr t oʊ l d /) is an art museum in Somerset House, on the Strand in central London. It houses the collection of the Samuel Courtauld Trust and operates as an integral part of the Courtauld Institute of Art.

Home to one of the greatest art collections in the UK, The Courtauld Gallery is located in the magnificent historical setting of Somerset House. The Gallery is particularly known for its Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings and exciting programme of temporary exhibitions.
The Courtauld Institute of Art is the major centre for the study of the history and conservation of art and architecture in the United Kingdom. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate teaching to around 400 students each year. [11] . Degrees are awarded by the University of London.
