  5. Biografi. Som barn havde Elizabeth et nært forhold til sin bror, den senere kong Christian II af Danmark.Hun kunne læse og skrive på både dansk og tysk. Den 10. april 1502 giftede hun sig med Joachim I Nestor, kurfyrste i Brandenburg, i et dobbelt bryllup sammen med sin onkel, den kommende kong Frederik I af Danmark og hendes svigerinde Anna af Brandenburg.
