23 de abr. de 2024 · Charles Felix was the duke of Savoy and king of Sardinia–Piedmont (1821–31). The 11th child of Victor Amadeus III, he succeeded to his position when his brother Victor Emmanuel I abdicated in the face of an uprising of revolutionaries who demanded a new constitution.

He was King of Sardinia from 1821 to 1831. Charles Felix was born a Prince of Savoy and was later the last mainline Savoyard monarch of Sardinia. He was a nephew of Charles III of Spain and cousin of Maria I of Portugal as well as son in law of Maria Carolina of Austria.
