David Michael Alexander (June 3, 1947 – February 10, 1975) was an American musician, best known as the original bassist for influential protopunk band The Stooges. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 as a member of The Stooges.

El 10 de febrero de 1975 falleció Dave Alexander en Ann Harbor a la edad de 27 años tras sufrir un edema pulmonar.
