David Hume Kennerly (born March 9, 1947) is an American photographer. He won the 1972 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography for his portfolio of photographs of the Vietnam War , Cambodia , East Pakistani refugees near Calcutta , and the Ali-Frazier fight in Madison Square Garden .

11/07/2021 · David Hume’s philosophy of causation has an unorthodox result: there is no reason to believe that cause and effect are necessarily connected. There is no power or force out there in the world holding causes and effects together; causality is just our mind noticing that certain types of events seem to usually follow one another based on past experiences.
Berkeley influenced many modern philosophers, especially David Hume. Thomas Reid admitted that he put forward a drastic criticism of Berkeleianism after he had been an admirer of Berkeley's philosophical system for a long time.
