David Samuel Goyer is an American filmmaker, novelist and comic book writer. He is best known for writing the screenplays for the Blade trilogy, Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He is the creator of the television series Foundation.
David S. Goyer was born on 22 December 1965 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Dark City (1998), The Dark Knight (2008) and Flashforward (2009). He is married to Marina Black. They have two children. He was previously married to Jessika Borsiczky.
