Deborah Nadoolman Landis (born May 26, 1952) is an American costume designer, author, and professor. She has worked on notable films such as Animal House, The Blues Brothers, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Three Amigos, all of which credited her as Deborah Nadoolman.

Costume designer, historian and Distinguished Professor Deborah Nadoolman Landis is the founding director and chair of the David C. Copley Center for Costume Design. Landis received an M.F.A. in costume design from the UCLA College of Fine Arts in 1975 and a Ph.D. in the history of design from the Royal College of Art, London.

Deborah Nadoolman Landis, PhD, costume designer, historian, David C. Copley Chair, is a Distinguished Professor at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television. Landis is the Founding Director of the David C. Copley Center for Costume Design.
Her versatility was an asset for director John Landis for his The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), in which a dozen distinct short segments were molded into a coherent whole. Nadoolman met Landis while a freshman at college, through a group of friends who had been to high school with him.
