Deborra-Lee Furness ( Sídney, 8 de diciembre de 1955) es una actriz, directora y productora australiana . Biografía. Nació en Sídney y creció en Melbourne. Fue al Methodist Ladies' College en Melbourne, donde se graduó in 1973. Estudió actuación y se graduó en la Academia Americana de Artes Dramáticas en Nueva York de 1980 a 1982.

Career. Furness rose to fame in 1988 when she starred in the movie Shame, for which she won Best Actor awards from the Film Critics Circle of Australia and the Golden Space Needle Award from the Seattle International Film Festival.
