La zona de Dhaualagiri (en nepalí: धवलागिरी) fue una de las catorce zonas de Nepal. Estaba localizada en la división occidental de Nepal. Baglung era la oficina central de esta zona. Áreas famosas que hacen un viaje largo y difícil como Mustang, Muktinath, Kali Gandaki y el monte Dhaulagiri se ubican a esta zona.

Dhaulagiri, located in Nepal, is the seventh highest mountain in the world at 8,167 metres (26,795 ft) above sea level, and the highest mountain within the borders of a single country. It was first climbed on 13 May 1960 by a Swiss-Austrian-Nepali expedition. Annapurna I (8,091 m (26,545 ft)) is 34 km (21 mi) east of Dhaulagiri.
El Dhaulagiri es un macizo montañoso de la cordillera del Himalaya que culmina en el pico Dhaulagiri I que, con 8167 m s. n. m., es la séptima cima más alta de la Tierra. El macizo se sitúa en Nepal y se extiende a lo largo de 120 km desde el río Gandaki, al oeste, hasta el curso del río Bheri.
