Un pobre campesino que no tenía tierras de cultivo le pide al rey que le conceda un terreno para que viva y pueda trabajar junto con su hija, a lo cual accede, pero por cuestiones del destino el campesino termina en la cárcel y ahora su hija deberá descifrar un enigma del rey, si logra hacerlo ella se casaría con él y su padre saldría libre.
