Haderslev (Danish pronunciation: [ˈhæðˀɐˌsle̝w]; German: Hadersleben [ˈhaːdɐsleːbm̩] ⓘ) is a Danish town in the Region of Southern Denmark with a population of 22,182 (1 January 2023). It is the main town and the administrative seat of Haderslev Municipality and is situated in the eastern part of Southern Jutland .

Haderslev, city, southeastern Jutland, Denmark. It lies along Haderslev Fjord 9 miles (14 km) from the Little Belt (strait). First recorded in 1228 and chartered in 1292, it suffered in the 15th-century wars between Schleswig (Slesvig) and Holstein and passed to Prussia with Schleswig in 1864.
