Lady Dorothy Spencer; Robert Spencer, 2nd Earl of Sunderland; Lady Penelope Spencer (c. 1642–1667), died unmarried. The widowed countess lived at Brington, Northamptonshire, but eventually returned to Penshurst Place in Kent to live with her parents.

She was born in 1620, and married, in 1639, Henry Spencer, Lord Spencer of Wormleighton, afterwards Earl of Sunderland. He was killed at the battle of Edgehill. leaving her a young widow of twenty-three, with a son and two daughters.
