James Graham, 2nd Marquess of Montrose (1633–1669), second son of the 1st Marquess. James Graham, 3rd Marquess of Montrose (1657–1684), only son of the 2nd Marquess. James Graham, 4th Marquess of Montrose (1682–1742), became Duke of Montrose in 1707. James Graham, Earl of Kincardine (1703), eldest son of the 4th Marquess, died in infancy.

Lady Mary Louise Douglas-Hamilton (1 November 1884 – 21 February 1957), she married James Graham, 6th Duke of Montrose on 14 June 1906. They had four children. Hamilton died at Algiers in 1895, aged 50.

Lady Jean Graham Sibylle Violet Fforde DL (née Graham; 11 November 1920 – 13 October 2017) was a British aristocrat and Arran landowner, who worked as a codebreaker at Bletchley Park. She is known for auctioning off 1000 acres of Arran farmland to pay for central heating in her island cottage.
