St Joseph's College is a former Roman Catholic seminary and boarding school in Up Holland, Lancashire, England. The foundation of the original building was laid in April 1880 and the college opened in 1883. The buildings have since been deconsecrated.

Up Holland, West Lancashire. Up Holland, created as a parish council in 1983, lies on the slope of a ridge to the west of Wigan. It is a place of great antiquity. A figure of victory, probably of Roman workmanship, was found in a field at Up Holland in the 19th century and old records indicate early Celtic or Welsh settlement in the area.
Up Holland Priory was a Benedictine priory in Up Holland, Lancashire, England. It was founded in 1319. The priory remains are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. and the site is listed as a scheduled monument.

It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Ormskirk, the archdeaconry of Warrington, and the diocese of Liverpool.
