El Observatorio de Cambridge (nombre original en inglés: Cambridge Observatory) es un observatorio astronómico situado en el Este de Inglaterra, perteneciente a la Universidad de Cambridge. Se fundó en 1823 y actualmente forma parte del Instituto de Astronomía de la Universidad. [ 2 ]
Cambridge Observatory is an astronomical observatory at the University of Cambridge in the East of England. It was established in 1823 [1] and is now part of the site of the Institute of Astronomy . The old Observatory building houses the Institute of Astronomy Library which has a collection of modern and historical astronomical books.

It was originally a Government Observatory and brought to Cambridge a long tradition of observations of the Sun, extended by the operation of an outstation in Malta during 1965-72. Observational studies of the Sun were then discontinued, and the building now contains laboratories and offices.
