Sophia Margaret Jameson (Millais) Macewen was born 18 June 1868 in Kensington, London, England. Sophia married Douglas Lilburn MacEwen (1867 - 1941) on 9 Dec 1891 in St Mary Abbots Church, Kensington. The couple had 3 children, Veronica Effie Glen, Malmhina Millais and Moira. Moira died in infancy.
