Elizabeth Parke Custis Law. Elizabeth "Eliza" Parke Custis Law was the eldest of Martha Washington 's four surviving grandchildren. Eliza was born in Mount Airy, Prince George's County, Maryland, the home of her maternal grandparents.
George and Martha also maintained a close relationship with their other two grandchildren from Jacky’s marriage to Eleanor, Elizabeth "Betsey" Parke Custis and Martha "Patty" Parke Custis, who was born in one of the bedrooms at Mount Vernon.
