  4. Elizabeth Tilley. c. 1607 - 1687. Elizabeth Tilley was about 13 when she sailed on Mayflower. Both of her parents, her uncle Edward Tilley, and his wife died in the first year. The orphaned Elizabeth survived, became the ward of fellow passenger John Howland, and eventually married him about 1625. She had 10 children and 88 grandchildren.
