1 de nov. de 1990 · Elliott Roosevelt was one of four sons - James, FDR Jr. and John were the others - born to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. There was one daughter, Anna Roosevelt Halstead (when her former husband was publisher of The Seattle P-I, her name was Boettiger). All are gone now, except for James. Elliott died at the age of 80.

Elliott Roosevelt, son of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, was born in New York City on September 23, 1910. He was a brigadier general in the Air Force during World War II, and held a variety of jobs, including Advertising Executive, Editor, Radio Broadcaster, and President of a company.

Elliott was the more academically successful and appeared to be the most promising of the four Roosevelt children, but that would change in time.
