1494, Bartolomé Colón. Hermano menor de Cristóbal. Nació en lugar incierto en el año 1437, probablemente Génova, y falleció en Santo Domingo en el año 1514. Se le cita en un documento del año 1480, lo que presupone se hallaba en Lisboa al lado de su hermano. Era un experto en el dibujo cartográfico y versado en cosmografía.
