Donald Brown. Donald Ray Brown was born in Desoto on March 28, 1954. Brown moved with his family to Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 2. Donald was raised in a musical family that instilled a love for music in him. Early stints on the tuba, baritone trumpet and drums were his first steps into music.
