Ernst Ludwig Kirchner Piper (Aschaffenburg, Alemania, 6 de mayo de 1880 - Frauenkirch, Suiza, 15 de junio de 1938) fue un pintor alemán y uno de los representantes más importantes del expresionismo pictórico.

Durante su infancia su familia se trasladó repetidas veces, instalándose finalmente en Chemnitz, donde acudió a la escuela elemental. En 1901 ingresó en la Facultad de Arquitectura del Colegio Técnico de Dresde.

Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. Pintor alemán. Nació el 6 de mayo de 1880 en Aschaffenberg, Bavaria. Cursó sus primeros estudios en Chemnitz, ciudad sajona en cuya Escuela de Artes Aplicadas su padre había conseguido una plaza de profesor y en 1901 inicia la carrera de arquitectura en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Dresde.
