  4. Who we are. The European University Association (EUA) represents more than 870 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 49 European countries. EUA plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation.

  5. The EUA Board is comprised of the President and eight members, including two Vice-Presidents, all of whom are current or former rectors. The Board meets at least three times a year and is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Association's policy and the planning of its activities. The members are elected for four-year terms.
