With typical Gilbert word-play the title indicates the fact that this is a kind of musical, with some of the vocals being taken by actor/singers. It's not totally successful mainly because the songs aren't that distinctive apart from the coupling of "You Don't Own Me/If I Know You" originally released on the excellent _Life & Rhymes_.

For the first time I’ll be able to do two songs from 1995’s Every Song Has Its Play and Bobby Davro will be playing Showbiz with me. It’s very theatrical and I’ve never done those on stage before. They require those big orchestras to work.”
