Professional Children's School (PCS) is a not-for-profit, college preparatory school geared toward working and aspiring child actors and dancers in grades six through twelve. The school was founded in New York City in 1914 to provide an academic education to young people working on the New York stage, in Vaudeville , or "on the road".

Signature. Thomas Edward Bosley (October 1, 1927 – October 19, 2010) was an American actor, television personality and entertainer. Bosley is best known for portraying Howard Cunningham on the ABC sitcom Happy Days (1974–1984) for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series nomination.
The nominee was selected at the convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from June 24–28, 1940. [2] The primaries were contested mainly by Manhattan District Attorney Thomas E. Dewey and Senators Robert A. Taft and Arthur Vandenberg, though only a few states' primaries featured two or more of these men.
Girls High School in San Francisco, California, was established in 1865 and was discontinued in 1952. A tableau vivant was given on May 29, 1897, in the Girls High auditorium by Union Army veterans, at right, who sang Tenting on the Old Camp Ground. Fire destroyed a building surrounded by scaffolding on August 19, 1934.
