Florenz Ziegfeld Jr. (Chicago, 21 de março de 1869 — Nova Iorque, 22 de julho de 1932) [1] foi um produtor teatral norte-americano das primeiras décadas do século XX. Seus espetáculos da série Ziegfeld Follies tiveram 24 edições, até que o cinema sonoro decretou seu fim, em 1931 .
Mr. Ziegfeld was the son of Dr. Florenz Ziegfeld, who organized the Chicago Musical College, and recruited the symphony orchestra for Theodore Thomas. He was born on March 21, 1869, and grew up against a background of Beethoven, Schumann and Bach. The younger Ziegfeld had a flair for the theatre, and was constantly active in amateur promotions.
