1 de abr. de 2019 · Located in a grove in the campus of BJFU, the “pavilion of clouds” is a bamboo structure built for 2018 “Bamboo Garden Festival”, and the project was commissioned by the faculty of BJFU.
Enclosed with floor-to-ceiling window walls, this structure allows for maximum connection with the surrounding nature but still provides protection from snow and wind. The ceiling is lined with dry, woven grasses, continuing the feeling of symbiosis with the outdoor world.
The pavilion of 2013, designed by Sou Fujimoto, is inspired by the evanescence of clouds, inviting people to explore the place in a new 31/08/2020
