He was the only son of the Tudor statesman Thomas Cromwell, 1st Earl of Essex ( c. 1485 – 1540) and Elizabeth Wyckes (d. 1529).

18 de abr. de 2024 · When Henry Whalley was born about 1604, in Screveton, Nottinghamshire, England, United Kingdom, his father, Richard Whalley Esq., was 37 and his mother, Frances Cromwell, was 36. He married Rebecca Duffell on 23 April 1627. They were the parents of at least 3 sons. He died about 1699, in Dublin, Ireland, at the age of 97.
