Sir Francis William Austen - more than Nelson. 1774-1865. He was born on 23 April 1774, the fifth son of the Reverend George Austen, rector of Deane and later of Steventon, Hampshire, and of his wife, Cassandra Leigh. He was the brother of the novelist Jane Austen and Rear-Admiral Charles John Austen.
