Both Schools were founded by the Reverend Canon Francis Holland. The first, Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park, was established in 1878 and takes girls from 11-18 (currently 550) and its sister school, Francis Holland School, Sloane Square, was established in 1881 and educates girls from 4-18 (currently 650).
Francis Holland Senior School is academically selective attracting girls from our own Junior School as well as a broad range of preparatory and primary schools. The school’s last Independent Schools Inspectorate Report noted the ‘remarkable relationships between staff and pupils and the sense of kindness, courtesy and community which pervades the School’.
Francis Holland's Sixth Form centre is housed in the separate Morison Wing with specialised facilities and resources.
