Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Marquess of Hertford, KG, PC, PC (Ire) (5 July 1718 – 14 June 1794) of Ragley Hall, Arrow, in Warwickshire, was a British courtier and politician who, briefly, was Viceroy of Ireland where he had substantial estates.

30 de nov. de 2023 · Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Marquess of Hertford was a descendant of Edward Seymour, 1st Duke of Somerset and his first wife Catharine Fillol. Their marriage was annulled and their children declared illegitimate. Their son Sir Edward Seymour (d. 6 May 1593) later served as a Sheriff of Devon.

Conway, Francis Seymour- (1718?–94), 1st marquess of Hertford , nobleman and politician, was born 5 July 1718 (or in 1719), at Lindsey House, Chelsea, London, son and heir of Francis Seymour, later Seymour-Conway, 1st Lord Conway, and his third wife, Charlotte Conway (née Shorter).
Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Marquess of Hertford (1718-1794) was the son of Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Baron Conway of Ragley and Charlotte Shorter. He married Lady Isabella Fitzroy, daughter of Charles Fitzroy, 2nd Duke of Grafton and Lady Henrietta Somerset, on 29 May 1741.
