Franz Marc Pintor alemán Nació el 8 de febrero de 1880 en Munich. Hijo de Wilhelm Marc, un pintor profesional de paisajes, y de Sophie, un ama de casa devota calvinista. Realizó estudios de Filosofía y Teología y, de 1899 a 1903, estudió en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Munich.
El sueño fue realizado en 1912 en Sindelsdorf, en donde Franz Marc había fijado su residencia en 1909 atraído por las características de ese paraje idílico.
