Frederick George Stephens (1827 – Londen, 9 maart 1907) was een Engels schilder en vooral kunstcriticus die deel uitmaakte van de Prerafaëlieten . Stephens werd geboren in Aberdeen, waar zijn ouders vandaan kwamen, of in Londen, waar hij opgroeide. Ten gevolge van een ongeval in 1837 raakte hij gehandicapt en kreeg een privé-opleiding.

Frederic George Stephens. Frederic George Stephens (ur. 1827 lub 1828 w Londynie, zm. 9 marca 1907 tamże) – brytyjski krytyk i historyk sztuki, jeden z siedmiu członków Bractwa Prerafaelitów . W 1844 roku zapisał się do Royal Academy of Arts, gdzie spotkał Johna Everetta Millais'go i Williama Holmana Hunta.
