Frederick St John, 2nd Viscount Bolingbroke, 3rd Viscount St John (21 December 1732 – 5 May 1787), was a British Viscount and landowner. His father was John St John, 2nd Viscount St John , half-brother of Henry St John, 1st Viscount Bolingbroke (1678–1751).

Henry St John (1738–1818), half-brother of Henry St John, 1st Viscount Bolingbroke (1678–1751). His mother was Anne Furnese.

MP, of Waldershare, co. Kent), 1st surv. son by his second wife of Henry [St John], 1st Viscount St John. born. 1734.
On 8 September 1757, she married Frederick St John, 2nd Viscount Bolingbroke (1734–1787). From 1762 to 1768 she was Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Charlotte . She became widely known as 'Lady Di' (as did her namesake, Diana, Princess of Wales , prior to her marriage).
Stubbs's portrait of Tristram Shandy with a Groom was almost certainly commissioned by Lord Bolingbroke, probably in 1761. Frederick St. John, 2nd Viscount Bolingbroke, of Lydiard Tregoze, Wiltshire, was one of Stubbs's most important and constant patrons in the 1760s.
