    Frederuna was the Queen Consort of France, wife of Emperor Charles of Frankia and mother of Duchess Gisla.

    Frederuna was born in 887 in Goslar, Germany. Her parents were Dietrich Theodoric von Ringelheim and Gisela of Lotharingia. Her father was the Duke of Saxony.

    Frederuna was the first wife of King Charles III of France. They married inn 907. She had six daughters with Charles: Ermentrude, Gisela, Frederuna, Adelais, Rotrude, and Hildegarde. She died in 917, at about thirty-years-old.
