From a Second Story Window (sometimes abbreviated as FASSW) is a metalcore band that formed in 1999 in Ohio, United States, as Aphasia. By 2003, they had changed their name to From a Second Story Window. [1] History. The band's first EP was self-released as The Cassandra Complex in 2003.

FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW is a progressive metal/hardcore band from Ohio formed by Sean Vandegrift (vocals), Derek Vasconi (guitars), Joe Sudrovic (bass), Nick Huffman (drums) and Rob Hileman (guitars) in 2002 under the name of Aphasia but later in 2003 decided to change it to their current one.
