La gaita o cornamusa [1] es un instrumento de viento. Para obtener el sonido, el intérprete almacena aire en un odre o saco soplando a través de un tubo o bien accionando fuelles con un brazo, para posteriormente presionar el odre haciendo que el aire salga por otro tubo dotado de orificios donde se ejecuta con los dedos la melodía.
