Gary Evan Crosby (June 27, 1933 – August 24, 1995) was an American actor and singer. His parents were Bing Crosby, of whom he wrote a highly critical memoir, and the singer and actress Dixie Lee . Biography [ edit] Gary Crosby was born in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Stanford University.
Gary Crosby (1933-1995) The stocky-framed, lookalike son of singing legend Bing Crosby who had that same bemused, forlorn look, fair hair and jug ears, Gary was the eldest of four sons born to the crooner and his first wife singer/actress Dixie Lee.
Nephew of bandleader Bob Crosby. Named after actor Gary Cooper, his father's close friend. At the time of his death, Gary was working on an album in which he would be paired electronically with his late father, in much the same way Natalie Cole did with her father, Nat 'King' Cole, on her "Unforgettable" album.
