Gaston de Foix, duc de Nemours (10 December 1489 – 11 April 1512), nicknamed The Thunderbolt of Italy, [1] was a famed French military commander of the Renaissance. Nephew of King Louis XII of France and general of his armies in Italy from 1511 to 1512, he is noted for his military feats in a career which lasted no longer than a few months.
Gaston de Foix (1448 – 25 March 1500), Earl of Kendal and Count of Benauges, was a French nobleman in the last decades of the Middle Ages. He was a cadet member of the important Foix family in Southern France.

John of Foix (1450 – 1500, Étampes, France) was a younger son of Count Gaston IV of Foix and Queen Eleanor of Navarre. His elder brother was Gaston, Prince of Viana. Life. He received the Viscounty of Narbonne from his father. He was on good terms with both Louis XI of France and Louis XII of France.

Catherine de Foix (c. 1455 – died before 1494) was a French noblewoman. She was a daughter of Gaston IV, Count of Foix, and Eleanor of Navarre, [1] and was a granddaughter of John II of Aragon and Blanche I of Navarre . Catherine married Gaston de Foix, Count of Candale. [1] They had:

Jacques de Foix (1463–1508) was a Count of Montfort and " Captal Buch ," and the so-called “Infante of Navarre”. Born in early 1463, he was the ninth child of Gaston IV, Count of Foix and Bigorre, Viscount of Béarn, and his wife Eleanor (or Leonora) of Aragon, Queen of Navarre. [1]
Bernal de Foix was an illegitimate son of Gaston III de Foix, the 11th Count of Foix. He was invested as the first Count of Medinaceli in 1368, and he married Doña Isabel de la Cerda in 1370.
