George died in New York about 1890. John lived in Greenheys and died in 1889. Frederick was born at Stubbins, Ramsbottom in 1817 and died in 1874. Henry James was born in Salford 1833.

Selwyn was educated at Eton and St. John’s College, Cambridge. In 1833 he was ordained a deacon and became a curate at Windsor.
