George Edmund Street (Woodford, Essex, 20 de junio de 1824 - Londres, 18 de diciembre de 1881), también conocido como G. E. Street, fue un arquitecto inglés, estilísticamente un destacado practicante del neogótico victoriano.

Street worked as an assistant to George Gilbert Scott in London for five years.

George Edmund Street era hijo de un abogado de Londres, y fue educado para seguir los pasos de su padre, pero en 1840, menos de un año después de la muerte de su padre, fue enviado a un arquitecto de Winchester, Owen Browne Carter. Desde 1844 fue asistente de George Gilbert Scott, y en 1849 creó su propio bufeté.

Mr. Street was one of the first architects of the Revival who showed how effective Gothic architecture might be made where it simply depends for effect on artistic proportion. In this respect he brought about a great and useful reformation in the practice of his art.
