Sir George Gilbert Scott is buried in Westminster Abbey in a grave, which he would have been pleased to learn, unearthed some of the earliest Roman remains discovered in the Abbey. The iconic red telephone box was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott who took inspiration from Sir John Soane’s wife mausoleum.

George Gilbert Scott ( Gawcott, Buckinghamshire, 13 de julho de 1811 – Londres, 27 de março de 1878) conhecido como Sir Gilbert Scott, foi um prolífico arquiteto revival gótico inglês, principalmente associado a projetos, construção e reforma de igrejas e catedrais.
