Herbert Henry Asquith, dit H. H. Asquith, né le 12 septembre 1852 à Morley (Yorkshire de l'Ouest) et mort le 15 février 1928 à Sutton Courtenay , est un homme d'État britannique, membre du Parti libéral et Premier ministre du Royaume-Uni de 1908 à 1916.
The first prominent member of the family was H. H. Asquith, who was prime minister from 1908 to 1916. In 1925, Asquith was raised to the peerage as Earl of Oxford and Asquith. His great-grandson Raymond is the present Earl. All of H. H. Asquith's seven children achieved some prominence in national affairs.
