Sir George Talbot, IV conde de Shrewsbury, IV conde de Waterford, X Barón Talbot, KG, KB, PC (c. 1468 – 26 de julio de 1538) era hijo de John Talbot, III conde de Shrewsbury, y Lady Catherine Stafford, hija del duque de Buckingham. [1]
George Talbot, 4th Earl of Shrewsbury, 4th Earl of Waterford, 10th Baron Talbot, KG, KB, PC (c. 1468 – 26 July 1538) was the son of John Talbot, 3rd Earl of Shrewsbury, and Lady Catherine Stafford, daughter of the 1st Duke of Buckingham.

Sir George Talbot, IV conde de Shrewsbury, IV conde de Waterford, X Barón Talbot, KG, KB, PC era hijo de John Talbot, III conde de Shrewsbury, y Lady Catherine Stafford, hija del duque de Buckingham.[1] También fue titular de los títulos subsidiarios de XIII Barón Strange de Blackmere y IX Barón Furnivall.
George Talbot, VI conde de Shrewsbury, murió el 18 de noviembre de 1590 y fue sobrevivido por su esposa Bess de Hardwick. Fue enterrado en la Capilla de Shrewsbury, en la Iglesia Parroquial de Sheffield Iglesia (actual Catedral de Sheffield), donde aún se puede ver un monumento erigido en su nombre.

As a young man George Talbot saw military service under Protector Somerset in the ‘Rough Wooings’ in Scotland and he married Gertrude Manners, daughter of the 1st Earl of Rutland, by whom he had six children, although she died in 1566.
George Talbot, 6th Earl of Shrewsbury died on 18 November 1590, survived by his wife Bess of Hardwick. He was buried in the Shrewsbury chapel at Sheffield Parish Church (now Sheffield Cathedral), where a large monument erected to him can still be seen.
