The Ducal Georgianum (German: Herzogliches Georgianum) is a theological seminary of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany. It was founded in 1494. Pope Benedict XVI studied at the Seminary until 1951.

The Herzogliches Georgianum (Georgianum Ducal Foundation) is the second oldest seminary in the world. Its library, focusing mainly on theology, comprises 75,000 volumes. The 40,000 volumes in the historic book collections date mainly from the 18th century.
Sebastian Kneipp (17 de mayo de 1821, Stephansried, Alemania -17 de junio de 1897, Wörishofen) fue un sacerdote y médico naturista alemán . 17 de ene. de 2022 · A visible presence in the cityscape. Founded in 1494 by Duke George the Rich of Bayern-Landshut, the Herzogliches Georgianum (Ducal Georgianum seminary) is a fine example of how foundations are woven into the history and architecture of Munich.
In November of 1945, Jospeh and Georg Ratzinger both enrolled into Traunstein’s Saint Michael Seminary, then Munich’s Ducal Georgianum within the Ludwig Maximilian University.
